Agrichem is pleased to announce it has finalised a distribution agreement with Crompton (Chemtura) for its new and unique pesticide seed coating product "Seed Plus" in Malawi, Kenya and South Africa.

Agrichem is pleased to announce it has finalised a distribution agreement with Crompton (Chemtura) for its new and unique pesticide seed coating product "Seed Plus" in Malawi, Kenya and South Africa.

"This agreement further adds to our expanding product and distribution assets, we are proud to enter a relationship with such a successful and large multinational" said Agrichem's Vice President Middle East and Africa, Mr Arik Amichay. Agrichem's growing pesticide business now incorporates a broad range of innovative and unique products for treating a wide range of pests and diseases. "Our laboratories have worked over time to produce the triple combination pesticide and have achieved excellent results" said Mr Amichay.

Seed Plus unique triple action seed coating product contains two fungicides and an insecticide in the one formulation. The product provides protection against seed-borne black leg, seed-borne Alternaria, seed rot and seed blight. Its fungicidal action provides effective control against early season root rot caused by pathogens Rhizoctonia and Pythium.
