The Sixth Worl Congress on the Processing Tomato wrapped up in Melbourne last week with Agrichem making valuable new contacts in the global tomato industry.
Ian Perryman described the conference as 'a chance to learn more about what potential customers require, whilst offering customers the chance to learn more about the agrichem range.
More than half the delegates at the conference were international, particularly from China, Italy, Spain, and Brazil.
There were also a mixture of growers, processors, and distributors alongside a strong contingent of researchers.
The topics covered ubcluded an overview of world production and consumption, industry outlook, new technology, environmental programs, genetics and farming systems.
